Assessment
Felling isn't always the answer.
This stone pine was leaning over the house. Instead of felling it, we assessed its structure, removed the limbs hanging over the roof and rebalanced the crown. The house is safe and the tree is still in the garden.

Tree health and risk assessment
Before felling, we check whether the tree can be kept safely. Health and stability inspection of urban and rural trees, with a written report and recommendations.
High-risk removals with rigging or crane
Trees leaning on houses, over pools, near power lines or at risk of imminent collapse.
Tree pruning
Crown cleaning, formative pruning and crown reduction, without harming the tree.
Palm tree cleaning
Removal of dead fronds and trunk bark, plus red palm weevil treatment.

Before you hire anyone
Three things to check with any tree company.
Insured and trained?
If a tree lands on your neighbour's roof and whoever cut it had no insurance or proper training, the bill is yours.
Pruning or topping?
Cutting the crown flat weakens the tree. Within three years it's more dangerous, not less.
Is it a protected species?
Cork oak and holm oak need a permit, and felling pines requires a declaration to the ICNF, the national forestry authority. We handle the paperwork.

How much will it cost?
It mostly comes down to what's around the tree. If there's room for it to fall, it's a quick job; next to a roof, or needing a crane, it takes more time and kit. The site visit is free and the quote is fixed and in writing.
Do I need permission to cut a tree down?
Cork oak and holm oak need a permit from the ICNF, the national forestry authority, and pines require a felling declaration. We'll tell you what's needed on the visit and handle the paperwork.
What if something gets damaged?
We carry public liability insurance and we'll show you the policy before we start.
Who takes the green waste away?
We do. Green waste removal is always included. If you'd like to keep the logs, we'll leave them cut and stacked.
How soon can you come out?
We visit within 48 hours and usually carry out the work within three days to two weeks. Fallen trees or trees at risk of falling take priority.
I don't live in Portugal. Can you still do the job?
Yes. Most of our international clients aren't here when we work. We agree everything on WhatsApp, send a written quote, and share before and after photos when the job is done. Invoices are issued with Portuguese VAT.
